Broadway New York What Are Some Good New York Broadway Shows?

What are some good New York Broadway shows? - broadway new york

I loved all the Broadway shows so far, but this time I was with a friend who does not like Broadway shows, in general. It is to be held more or less has the "G" because his mother is a kind of conservative. I saw Phantom of the Opera, Spamelot (is it more?), Wicked, and the heights. Her mother thinks that Little Mermaid is a good choice, but I liked the idea of Disney on Broadway. But what do you think? Broadway Disney is good?

  1. I do not recommend the Little Mermaid! I saw him again with the original cast, and I was bored the whole time! Especially since he has big shows like Wicked (which is incredible! Seen) will not be impressed by it!

Disney Broadway shows are great for the layman, and people like the mother of his friends. I recommend the Lion King or Mary Poppins! I think both are equally great, but it depends on the story that you prefer. I also think that Mary Poppins cards are easier to reach.

So Shrek, the musical is a good choice! I saw him last week, and I was impressed with Sutton Foster (Fiona). It was fun all the time! When the movie, and I know all the jokes, Shrek would be great!

Mamma Mia would be a good option also, I would say no more than PG. Tell him the first film to verify that you are authorized. Do the same with Hairspray, and PG, I guess.

Off-Broadway, Blue Man Group is another good option. It is very funny, and tickets are slightly cheaper than Broadway.

Billy Elliot is incredible!I'm not sure it's G or PG on the matter. It has some swearing, which is more of a liberal, so I think it can not be good.

Hope this helps, in fact, is a program of your choice to be good, just trying to see something other than the little mermaid. Everyone else is good =)

  2. It is a shame, he is as conservative as Billy Elliot is AMAZING! I saw a few weeks ago, and I was impressed! It has some swearing in it so it does not work.

I agree with all of the Lion King. I have a few years ago and it was fantastic! Definitely rated G, but if done well. A great "show".

Shrek The Musical will be fun.

Blue Man Group is the off-Broadway now, and it's really a fun show.

  3. Well, not a Broadway show, but the Blue Man Group is doing well. I do not know whether he was still on tour, or are still in New York.
    Target for a show somewhere.

  4. When the Lion King still plays, a check out.
The designs of the costumes and scenery are really bright.

But in general I hate Broadway musicals.
Can not ask the best person.

  5. The Lion King ... Disney should be on Broadway, but amazing (lion costumes are extraordinary)
or you can convince your mother ... Mamma Mia (I think his playmaker)
